 April 10, 2006 - Need a summer job? Do you love baseball? Do you live on Staten Island? Are you a Staten Island Yankees fan? Ever wanted to be a mascot? Well this is your chance! The Staten Island Yankees will be holding a special mascot tryout, Thursday, April 20th, 2006 at the Richmond County Bank Ballpark @ St. George from 3pm to 6pm. This might be your only opportunity to be part of the three best mascots in the United States. Last year our mascots Scooter, Huck and Red were voted the 3rd best mascots in all of professional sports. Do you have what it takes to help us become Number 1?
