STATEN ISLAND YANKEES ANNOUNCE MINI-TICKET PLAN SALES SET FOR MONDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2000
The Staten Island Yankees, the Single-A Affiliate of the 25-Time World Champion New York Yankees, are proud to announce that their 2000 Mini-Ticket Plans will go on sale on Monday, February 14, 2000. The game plans are structured to attract fans, who do not purchase the full 38-Game Season Ticket Package.
We feel that our Mini-Ticket Plans are going to very popular, said Josh Getzler, Yankees chief operating officer. The plans are designated to allow people the opportunity to attend more than a couple of games and at the same time receive several perks as well. We know that these types of plans work really well for other clubs and our fans have inquired about their availability. We think the plans are going to receive a positive response from our fans.
The plans feature different promotional nights that include giveaways, firework shows, and performing acts like the Zooperstars. Fans purchasing the game plans receive a subscription to the Baby Bomber Bulletin the official newsletter of the Staten Island Yankees. They also have the opportunity to purchase Opening Day tickets before they are available to the general public.
The 2000 Game Plans include the New York-Penn League Plan featuring games against every opponent in the New York-Penn League. The Thirsty Thursday Plan featuring $1.00 Beers (available only in the bleacher section) and other perks. The Yankees have four Game Plans that feature six home games during the 2000 season. They include The Baby Bomber Plan, The Yankee Clipper Plan, The Iron Horse Plan, and The Bambino Plan.
