Ruth graduated from Fort Hamilton High School, Brooklyn, in the 1970's.  Ruth is entering her fifth season with the Yankees.  Her favorite sports team has won two (count 'em TWO) World Series in the last century.  Her husband, Jim, is a foreman with the NYCDOT.  He manages a men's softball team on Staten Island.  Renee will be a junior at St. Joseph's by the Sea High School in the fall and is also an Irish Step Dancer.  Ruth wants to thank her family, friends, and 'teammates' for their unending support during the last year.
